All donations were gratefully received, swiftly counted and bagged and taken directly to HSBC Bank in the High Street.

Watch Manager Sean Absolom said, ‘Despite the difficult financial climate, this year’s response was fantastic and we are really grateful to everyone who made a donation. Special thanks go to Hughie Fuller, Paul Nixon and Sue Absolom, who helped us with the collection, and to the staff at HSBC Bank. We greatly appreciated the support of The Swan at Streatley and Pierrepoint's who provided us with tea and coffee’.
