Goring’s fire-fighters are very pleased to report that a record £5,726 (including 20 euros that were converted to sterling) was raised when they set up their annual Children in Need river bridge collection
The previous best was £4,000 in 2007. Although this year’s total was undoubtedly boosted by the closure of Whitchurch Bridge it is also a reflection of the wonderful generosity of the residents of Goring and Streatley
