On Thursday 17 November children from Goring and Cleeve Pre-School had a very exciting trip to Goring Fire Station.

The children and parents had a wonderful time learning all about fire safety, being able to sit inside the engine and handling the equipment. Everyone laughed when two of the adults had a race to dress in the fire-fighter’s uniform! The trip was rounded off with each child being given the opportunity to put out a pretend fire target using the hose, which was fixed into the ground supply which everyone found great fun! The staff and children would like to once again thank the Fire Station and John and Keith for all their effort in making the trip such a lovely experience.
