The officers and crew from Goring Fire Station want to say a big thank you for everyone who donated to our collection on Goring and Streatley bridge for @BBC Children in Need on Friday 17 November.
We raised a whopping £4,720.28 for this very worthy cause. (Oh – and 23 euros, a battery and a McDonalds pendant!) This total came despite the crew having to cut short the collection due to being called to a house fire in Didcot. Not only was the local community so generous but they were very kind to the crew. Special mention again to Pierreponts Cafe who kept us fed and watered throughout the day. Thanks for donating to this very worthy cause.
